| It's been almost three months since the last time I updated. I don't know where to begin. Baseball's been good, but I haven't played much yet. It's kind of a weird situation because I've been a starter basically my whole life. I'm starting on Friday though, so that's good. Lucie's great. All I could ask for right now :). School almost over and Friday can't come fast enough! I can't wait for summer! BELL is gonna be awesome and it'll be nice to relax a wee bit. And then there's the big decision: Football or Baseball. One of the biggest decisions I've made in my whole short life. And I have to decide by Friday. Everything is Friday! After that it's studying, finals, regents, then SUMMER!!!! Woo WOO! Anywho, I'm out. Time to sleep, something I haven't done too much of recently.

| Happy Saturday night to you all! Luckily no Saturday Night Fever for me tonight. My internet is still being a bitch but that's ok. Baseball is going well, but I was looking at my schedule for April and May and it's gonna be crazy!!!! I KNOW that by the end of it either my baseball coach or the people at HOBY will hate me which makes me very sad. I HATE SCHEDULING CONFLICTS!!!!!! I've decided that I do way too much shit! I should just play baseball, and only do one or two clubs and do HOBY stuff because I'm WAY over-booked. Having a girlfriend for the first time in a while isn't going to help the situation any, but she's worth it  . I promised myself I'd stay away from freshman, but then again, I'm not good at keeping my self-promises. I really just want this damn year to end. Sure, it's been fun, but there's so much hooplah about grades and SATs and such that it can be quite overwhelming. And yes, I realize that I whine about it a lot, and I know I have it easier than a lot of people cuz Chatham is a pussy public school, but it's still a pain in the ass. Speaking of Chatham, my school is falling apart. According to my principal, we're all alcoholics or drug addicts (or both) and I'm starting to believe him! I know that it doesn't really apply to most of the people in the school (or does it?) , but it's still crazy to hear about all the stupid shit that's happening now. I can't say that I'm completely innocent when it comes to stuff like that, and I've made my share of mistakes too, but some kids I know are really out of control. A kid in my chemistry class was talking about how he got drunk 18 DAYS IN A ROW!!!! I'm sorry, but that's fucking ridiculous. Some of these people have serious problems. And it's hard to watch because the majority are reasonably nice and intelligent. I really hope nothing bad happens on our Washington D.C. trip this year. We really can't afford to have another disaster like the one on our band trip last year. I think that's enough for now. Time for sleepidge. The new Green Day album rocks! | Hey there all you crazy people! Speaking of crazy, life is making me crazy right now, as is my f*%#!&@ interntet connection!!! Should be sleeping right now but I'm not. I don't have any time right now so I'll just write words that are relevant to life right now:

| YAY! I'm going boarding with Lucie and Steve and Haleigh tomorrow, and perhaps Casey and his giiiiiiirlfriend Emma. Hahaha, I like to tease him about that cuz he gets this funny scrunched up smile on his face cuz he's shy about stuff like that. I'm so excited though. I haven't been snowboarding all year, and it's been way longer than that since I went on anything that even close to resembled a date. And I get to go to the b-ball game on Wednesday too, and hang out with steve and Francesca from HOBY beforehand, so that should be pretty kickass too. I'm off to do more productive things. I'm all about production these days. I've lost the ability to really enjoy wasting time :(. Alas. Buenas noches. | | |
| I AM THE RULER OF THE UNIVERSE!!!! "Why?" you ask? Well, I just cleaned out all the old unread messages in my inbox! BOOYAH! May not seem like a big deal, there were over 100 earlier today. Most of them were from months ago, but still. Haven't posted in a while. Life is mad busy, but when isn't it. I like to stay involved, but, esecially this week, I sometimes feel that I'm overbooked. It's all good though, cuz baseball starts in 16...wait, 15 days!!! I can't wait! Time is such an odd thing. I often rant about how depressing the passage of time is, so I'll try to keep from doing that now. I guess it just hits me sometimes, how fast everything passes. I don't take nearly enough time out to step back and savor everything that I have. Life is wonderful and I wouldn't change a thing (or would I?), but it's still hard. Too many decisions. How I hate decisions!!!!!! They suck! It's like that joke from Lewis Black about Americans worrying so much about what to eat that they just eat everything. I don't want to have to choose between 3 different kickass summer programs. I wish I had time to do them all. WOW, I'm so damn whiny lol. Screw this.
Anyways, it's time for a little info on Brooks' love life. This is especially juicy information because there has been no such thing as a "Brooks' love life" for more than a year now. I'd sorta given up on all of the girls at my school for the first half of this year, but liking girls who live like 2 hrs + away wasn't working out so great either. So recently I went to a Valentine's dance and danced quite a bit with this girl Jess, who is very attractive and smart and athlectic and nice. I'd had a little bit of a thing for her before then, but after the dance I decided I'd give it a shot. Long story short, I asked her on a date and she accepted, but she hasn't seemed too enthused with the whole thing and I'm not even sure I like her now. Then there's this freshman girl who I've been really intrigued by ever since I found out she existed earlier this year. She's really cool, and definitely dateable, but I'm kinda hesitant cuz I promised myself I'd stay away from freshmen after last year's bad experiences. Don't know why I'm writing all of this, but might as well continue. So then there's my ex-girlfriend's older sister who is really cool and who apparently likes me now. She's also a possibility, but I think that might be weird because I dated her sister and such. Wow, I'm gonna stop there, cuz I'm sure this all sounds ridiculous. I feel like I'm back in middle school or something. I kinda liked not having to worry about the drama of the dating world. Damnit, I also have to worry about PROM!!!!!(cue "Doomed" music) I have no idea who I'm going to ask, or what I'm going to where, or how I'm going to get there, or where I'm going afterwards, or anything!!! AHHHHHHHHGGGGGHH. See, there I go again with those damn decisions!! And I really hope I'm spelling "decision" right, cuz I've used it like 10 times. I'm way too tired to make any sense right now, so forgive me if the writing is slightly incoherent. Blah blah, anything else to complain about??? I haven't talked to a HOBY kid in forever and I'm feeling a little starved for some HOBY action, but that'll all be fixed tomorrow, cuz I've got a Cent Com meeing @ Daves! I get to see my fellow MEXICANOS!!!! HEY BURRITO! hehehe. I love them. OooOoh! And my team is playing Julie's in the Sectional semis on wednesday so hopefully I'll see her there. We played an awesome game against those Hudson bitches tonight, and I got some tv time as the Panther (recently named "Champ" ). I'm so proud of the team this year. They lost two of their best players at crucial times and are really young, but have had one of the best seasons in our history. Hmmmm, kinda like the football team eh???? YEAH CHATHAM!!!! Yay for school spirit. lol. Mmmmm, I love life. You guys rock my socks off. Peace and Love to everyone.
